Hanna Linderstål is a leading cybersecurity strategist with global advisory roles for governments, agencies, and corporations. Her expertise spans digital espionage, immersive AI, and cyber threat analysis—making her a trusted voice in the evolving digital threat landscape.
She lectures internationally on cyber threats and digital espionage, and is a guest lecturer at several universities. Hanna teaches regularly at the Swedish Defence University and FRIvärld’s Academy, focusing on future digital threat environments and hybrid warfare.
Previously Chair of the Cybersecurity Task Group on the Metaverse at the UN’s International Telecommunication Union (ITU), she now serves as an expert for the United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC) in the Citiverse initiative, with a focus on cyber threat intelligence and strategic resilience.
Her work on biometric data has influenced the EU AI regulations, and she has led international training efforts, including launching Bangladesh’s first university course on disinformation and cyber analysis. She is also European advisor for the X Reality Safety Intelligence (XRSI) and serves as Vice Chair of the Swedish Psychological Operations Association.
Currently, Hanna is contributing to Sweden’s Metaverse policy through XR Sweden, authoring the Disinfolandscape Sweden report for EU DisinfoLab.
